Open Explorer and find the file or folder you want to share. In this example we'll be using a folder of posters for an event we are hosting.
In the left pane of the Explorer window, you can see that we are in the IT Office - Documents folder within Murray Edwards College and we have selected the Posters folder to share with others. Right click the folder to share:
We want to Share our posters with others who are helping with the event.
n.b. 'Give access to >' is the wrong thing to do here!
Clicking Share opens the dialog as follows:
Press Send
Your colleagues will receive an email which shows that they have been given access to a file/folder:
The Open link will direct the recipient to the area of the sender's OneDrive which is viewable to the recipient.
As you can see, we have advised the recipient to open via OneDrive
